The work started on the day agreed and was completed by the date advised before work commenced. We are very pleased with the outcome and the quality of the work. Any queries that we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. The team is very professional and have 'gone the extra mile' to ensure that the work is of a high standard. We used Fix It Christchurch earlier in the year to complete a renovation which comprised of the living area and two bedrooms. The living area involved removing a wall between the kitchen and living room, interior gib replacement, some floor replacement, ceiling replacement and adding insulation. One bedroom needed the whole floor replaced, including piles and cross beams and insulation was added, the other bedroom needed floorboards and some cross beams replaced plus insulation. The current work was in the toilet where the internal walls and ceiling were replaced, new toilet and new window installed, insulation added to the walls, and existing floor covering removed.

Also appreciated the honest advice thoughout. Was concerned at the dropping temperatures but the plasterers had it all under control ensuring things had dried out properly at each step of the process. They also alerted me to signs of a possible leak in the roof and it turns out were absolutely correct as the position of the leak has now been found.
Painters were very helpful and friendly. Generally paintwork was very good to excellent in my opinion and the place looks a heck of a lot better. (Though they may have been a bit pressed for time at the end as for some reason the bathroom painting wasn't quite up to other standard of painting). The ceilings look superb. Appreciated them leaving extra paint for me in case any touch-ups required in future. Wardrobe building work looks fine - big improvement. Installation of windows not straightforward as windows supplied by another firm not quite right but Fix-it managed to install them and they look fine. Sparkies / carpet guys / cleaners good as gold. In fact the cleaners were so good I contacted them to see what they use, as it looked much better than when I do it.
Glad I opted out of the Fletchers programme and went with Fix-it.

We had excellent work done on our interior, but Fix It were let down by the painters they appointed which did a poor job on the house exterior. They came and spoke to us and arranged a fair resolution after listening & looking. That can happen in any job employing sub-contractors, especially in these times in ChCh, we can understand that - the company maintained their integrity in the way they handled it and were fair and reasonable in the situation. It's when things haven't gone well you can tell how good a company is.

Christchurch Fix It delivered on everything we discussed and were fast at responding to any questions I had. Fix It looked after my earthquake repairs to a very high standard. I had full confidence in handing over my home repairs to Fix It Christchurch. I have NO building experience - they always explained things. The tradies arrived on time, were so respectful and really knew what they were doing. The painters were experienced and professional
The repairs were finished on time even though they had to deal with EQC to get a a few extra things repaired that were picked up during the work and had not been covered by EQC. Fix It completed all the necessary EQC paper work and I did not have to worry. I definitely recommend anyone in Christchurch to contact them and Opt Out now. Honestly the whole process exceeded my expectations. Thank you, you treated my home as you would your own.

Opting out was the best decision we ever made, the next best was choosing Fix It to project manage the repairs on our home. We certainly were not the easiest of repairs, with 3 separate buildings on the one title, having a total of 14 bedrooms, 3 living rooms, 5 bathrooms, 3 kitchens, 3 toilets and an office, all of which needed varying degrees of repair.
Nothing was ever a bother and right from our first meeting we knew that they were professional, reliable and ready for the job. We were always well informed of the progress being made, the repair process was smooth and the disruption to our daily lives was negligible. The standard of workmanship was outstanding and was continually monitored throughout the repair process by Fix It.
They were easy to contact and when things crop up, as they did on this job, like required repairs being missed by the initial EQC assessors, Fix It were able to quickly get those added to the scope of works so there was never a hold up.
If you are thinking of opting out but are apprehensive, don't be, they helped us throughout the whole process, start to finish, they know the system and how it works. You won't regret it.

You were fantastic. I've never met such hard working tradesmen who were so accommodating of our needs. During our repairs we had specific needs due to our pets all of which were able to work around.
The staff turned up when expected and the work has been done in a timely fashion. The tradesmen go the extra mile, being friendly but also unobtrusive. If there were any problems they were on to it straight away. The repairs were made in a most timely manner, especially considering the time of year and nasty weather. They were also in regular contact to make sure we were happy with progress.
What could have been an extremely stressful process was actually really easy.
Communication has been excellent. They worked around our specific needs such as us wanting to stay in the house while it was being repaired. They have dealt with everything which has been great.
We are so grateful to Fix It for making our repairs happen so smoothly and the finished results are amazing! It's like having a whole new house.
As soon as we've saved some money up we are going to get Fix It Renovations back to do some non-earthquake renovations! I've also recommended Fix It Renovations to some friends who are considering opting out.
